October 17 & 18th
Mary Ross Waterfront Park, Brunswick, Ga

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Disco Karaoke Contest, Concert and Fireworks
Friday, October 17

Put on your platform shoes and break-out the polyester for the Downtwn Disco version of the Brunswick Rockin' Stewbilee.

The event is so big, that we had to expand it an extra day.

KC & The Sunshine Band are still as widely popular today as they were when they first
danced into the music scene. Harry Wayne Casey – KC for short – developed a
unique fusion of R&B and funk, with a hint of a Latin percussion groove, giving us an impressive
string of hits like GET DOWN TONIGHT, THAT’S THE WAY (I LIKE IT) and SHAKE YOUR
BOOTY. With sales of over 100 million records, nine Grammy nominations, three Grammy Awards
and an American Music Award, KC and The Sunshine Band was one of the most
progressive bands and is credited with changing the sound of modern pop music!

5:00 p.m.        Gates open

6:00 p.m.        Stage entertainment begins with a community costume contest, as
an individual or group;  $250 first prize in both categories. Register at the Sunny 103.3 van.

6:30 p.m.           The Disco Karaoke contest will take the stage featuring
Mason Waters and Friends providing live music for a slate of local
celebrity Disco Kings and Queens.  All proceeds from the Disco
Karaoke contest will benefit The United Way.

9:00 p.m.            K.C. & the Sunshine Band take the stage and take us on a trip down the funky highway we knew as Disco.

You won’t want to miss a minute of the fun.
